Nice fall weekend

What a beautiful weekend. The kids enjoyed riding bikes and playing outside while we still can. I love this weather but don't like what is behind it unfortanely.



Boy, Darren is a pro at riding Cassie's bike. He is having a hard time sharing with her cause it is hers. Once he is on he won't get off unless you pry him off it is cute to watch him ride around.

Glow sticks

Remember glow sticks. The kids got them from a lady at Kmart today. After they figured them out they were twirling them around, that is why they look funny in the pictures. Darren ended up chewing one and got glow all over,in Cassie's hair, on my clothes,his clothes and the floor too. What a mess but really cool in the dark. Cassie was throwing a fit though to get it off.

Pumpkins

After having our pumpkins for 3 weeks now we finally decorated them.

Kids own haircuts!!

I guess you shouldn't leave kids alone when there is a scissors nearby. I left the room for a few minutes and came back to finding hair on the floor. Cassie blamed it all on her little brother. Then she told me she cut her and Darren's hair. They both just had haircuts 1 week ago, so you couldn't tell on Darren but Cassie cut it in the back and left a nice little chuck out. Oh well, all kids do this right?

Since we ended up surprising my parents, we decided to stay with them for the night. I called Cassie off school and I played hooky from work too. Mom ended up treating the kids to new shoes and new haircuts, what a great mom.

Is this the next puller in the family?

The kids surprising everyone @ the last pull of the year for our Dad. It started out like any other Sunday till about 1:30pm I relized dad had his last tractor pull and I had only made 2 pulls this year. So me and the kids packed up cause Brian had to work and went surprised my mom and dad there. My youngest sister ended up coming too so we surprised her too. Had a great evening but really cold.

Homemade salsa!!

Well since our garden went nuts with tomatoes, I decided to make homemade salsa. Of course the kids had to help too, they were very patient since it seemed to take all day to do this. Oh well maybe next time it won't take as long and I won't have to run to the store 2 times either. I should of been better prepared but didn't realize 8 cups of banana peppers is alot of peppers.

More labor days pis

One Sunday we decided to go Tractor pulling with dad. Wow did we have fun. David,Mandi and Devin met up with us there too on their way back from Indiana. Just some cute pictures to enjoy from that evening.

Labor Day weekend

Well saturday we decided to hang out at Brian's parents house. We had a nice supper then played games the rest of the evening.

Cassie's 1st day of preschool

Well our little girl is off the school for her first day today. She only goes 3 days a week for about 2 1/2 hours. She was excited and was off playing when I left her room.

Nice weekend

Well the weekend started with more rain and then ended pretty nice and sunny. The kids had fun playing outside like usual and even found a friend to play with. She is our next door neighbor's great granddaughter, her daddy was mowing lawn so her and Cassie were talking and next thing I know Cassie invited her over to play. The kids enjoyed some company and had fun. Wish Cassie luck she starts preschool on Wednesday. I'm sure I will have pictures of her first day.

Cassie's 4th Birthday party

Well Cassie is now another year older and I can't believe it. We had a great day but it was very wet outside so we had to have the party inside (wish I had a bigger house). Cassie ended up with lots of gifts again and so cool clothes too. As you can tell Darren even tried blowing out the candles too. Cassie got a beautiful Cinderella's castle with all the princess' and prince's and more, how cool.
