Preschool fieldtrip to Erie Orchards

Today we went to Darren's preschool fieldtrip. We went to Erie Orchards and Cider Mill in Erie,MI. We got to pick 3 apples from the trees and got to see them make cider. Then we got eat a yummy homemade doughnut and drink some cider too. On the way out we got a little pumpkin as well. Fun was had by all. Here is Darren and his friend Henry on the hayride.

Now has come the time to start the kids in some type of sports. Cassie is in dance and Darren started hockey this past Saturday. Saturday was his first day and for never being on the ice before I thought he did pretty good but Wednesday came around and he could not stand up. He will continue with practice Sat and Wed and hopefully will get the hang of it but he is so stinking cute in his uniform.

July 17th we all had the day off and went to Coldwater,MI to Waffle Farms campground to visit Brian's uncle and aunt who were camping. It was a very cool and dreary day for July. The kids both went on their first boat ride and both of them caught fish too.

A couple weeks ago we got Darren's new waterslide out he got for his birthday and here a few pics of the kids enjoying.

Lake Erie-Headlands Beach State Park

My sister isn't very far from Headlands Beach State park, which is the largest natural sand beach in Ohio. We didn't stay long since it was cool but the kids had fun throwing rocks in the lake and it was beautiful there.

All aboard...

Last weekend my sisters,mom,my kids, and my sister's kids went to Thomas Day out in Peninsula. We had a good time but it was a little bit rainy but that didn't stop the kids. After our train ride we drove up to Mentor where my youngest sister lives and spent the night and went to the beach on Sunday.
