African Safari--Port Clinton,OH
On my birthday we decided to go to African Safari in Port Clinton,OH. The kids really enjoyed it cause they could sit up front in the car as we drove thru the safari part of it and feed the animals. The elk and giraffe's we unbelivable cause you really get close to them, I can't believe none of the animals ram the vehicles, we were all well behaved and wanted food!! The kids even got to ride on ponies when we were done in the safari part. They even had other animals in cages to view and camel rides too. What fun.

Lake time
Well we finally made it the lake this year. My family has 2 trailers @ Lake Erie. We finally made it up for the weekend after the tractor pull and was able to stay a few days. Boy did we have a blast, I am ready to go back again. We had a great breakfast Sunday morning then we to the beach after breakfast for a few hours headed back for a nap and then ended the evening with a great dinner and a birthday party for me. Monday we went to Marblehead lighthouse, ate ice cream and did some shopping, what a way to end a nice birthday weekend.

Kids first tractor pull of the year
Well the kids had a great time at their first tractor pull @ Oak Harbor,Oh. Cassie wouldn't stop clapping, she had a blast and left her headphones on the whole time. Darren was a little stinker though and kept wanting them off but he did know to plug his ears when a tractor would run. I guess this was practice for more to come. I have added a picture of a tractor that has been around for several years and it shoots flames out of it and Cassie loves it every time.

No second job anymore
Well no second job for Brian and that means we will stay in Toledo for a while longer now. Right before he left today his boss told him it just wasn't working out then and thanks for trying. Brian didn't even do anything wrong let alone be there only a week. Oh well must mean we were meant to stay here longer, that's fine cause the kids love their daycare sitter so I will continue to work fulltime till Labor Day then.

New Adventure for our family
Well Brian took on a second job in the mornings in Tiffin. That means I went back to work full time and the kids are now in daycare. I have found a great sitter for the kids not far from work. Cassie had a great time and Darren had fun too. Cassie didn't want to leave, such a relief compared to an actual daycare facility. Brian started a second job near our hometown part time to see if he would like it and it may turn into a full time position later and then that means we could sell our house and move HOME, where we belong!! Wish us luck in our new adventure cause it will be stressful on all of us with our new schedules, especially Brian working 8:30am-12pm then 230pm-11pm.
