Wedding July19th

Brian's cousin got married July 19th so the kids and me went with his family. Here are the newly married couple Tim and Katie Taylor.

Visitors!!

Well this past weekend was a very busy one with lots of visitors. Friday I took off to start my garage sale, then that evening Mandi,David,Devin,Aleyse and Loren came to spend the night and visit. Then later in the evening my youngest sister,Chelsea and her fiance,Dan came too. Wow it sure was a house full but a good time was had by all. Satuday we just hang out and did my garage sale some more. Saturday afternoon the Sieferts and Loren left, then Chels,Dan,me and the kids went to the botanical gardens for the Art Festival. It was a steamy night but nice.

New Pics of the kiddos

Here are just a few new pictures taken last week at JC Penney's.

Egg Hunt

The kids and cousin Devin decided to brave the bitterly cold weater and hunt for some eggs. Boy did they do good too, both boys got a gold dollar coin and cassie found 3 eggs with gold dollar coins on them. They did good and didn't complain at all, both of my kids even sat with the easter bunny too.

I went in Darren's room to check on them and there they were having a picnic in his crib, how creative and cute.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN--TRICK OR TREAT!!

Wow the kids hit the jackpot this year. I was going to take a plastic bag to empty their buckets in but didn't cause last year there weren't many houses. Well wrong!! Almost all the houses in the subdivision behind our house was passing out candy. The kids loved it, Cassie was running from house to house saying trick or treat, thank you. Little Darren would say treat,you (that was his thank you).

Halloween Costumes

These aren't very good pictures but you can get an idea what the kids costumes look like this year. Cassie a cheerleader and Darren as Mater from the movie "CARS". I'll hopefully post more tomorrow, we go trick-r-treating tomorrow.

Glow sticks

Remember glow sticks. The kids got them from a lady at Kmart today. After they figured them out they were twirling them around, that is why they look funny in the pictures. Darren ended up chewing one and got glow all over,in Cassie's hair, on my clothes,his clothes and the floor too. What a mess but really cool in the dark. Cassie was throwing a fit though to get it off.

After having our pumpkins for 3 weeks now we finally decorated them.

New haircuts

Since we ended up surprising my parents, we decided to stay with them for the night. I called Cassie off school and I played hooky from work too. Mom ended up treating the kids to new shoes and new haircuts, what a great mom.

Homemade salsa!!

Well since our garden went nuts with tomatoes, I decided to make homemade salsa. Of course the kids had to help too, they were very patient since it seemed to take all day to do this. Oh well maybe next time it won't take as long and I won't have to run to the store 2 times either. I should of been better prepared but didn't realize 8 cups of banana peppers is alot of peppers.

More labor days pis

One Sunday we decided to go Tractor pulling with dad. Wow did we have fun. David,Mandi and Devin met up with us there too on their way back from Indiana. Just some cute pictures to enjoy from that evening.
