Great Wolf Lodge Trip

Well this past weekend we went to the Great Wolf Lodge in Sandusky, Ohio. It was a christmas gift from my mother in law and sister in law. Every year we get together as a family and do something on a weekend titled "Family Torture Day". So this year we decided to stay at the lodge and spend time together as a family and enjoy the waterpark. The hotel was very nice and the waterpark was fun. The waterpark was very well suited for kids, they even had a family hot tub.

My grandma had knee replacement on January 2nd and now she is in Heartland Nursing Home in Bucyrus, Oh for her therapy. She is doing great too. We all went over Sunday evening the 14th of January and surprised her with a visit. It brought her spirits up since she says she doesn't belong in there which is true but it is for the best of her.

January 13th--OSTPA banquet

My whole family minus the kids went to the Ohio State Tractor Pullers Association banquet on January 13th. We had a great meal and had fun being together. My dad got 8th place in the Modified points division. The surprise of the night was when my dad got the modified puller of the year, we were all shocked. He even gave a nice speech accepting his award. He received a check, a nice plaque with the tractor's picture on it and a nice coat embroided with his name on it. What a great evening and I am glad my sisters and me were there to witness the nice surprise for my dad.

Rain Rain GO AWAY!!!

I don't know if you can tell by the first 2 pictures but our basement is bit wet after all the rain we got. We didn't notice it till Monday morning and what a surprise. Brian decided to dam up the water with kitty litter to make it drain under the shower. Nothing really got ruined but the carpet is wet and it sure smells too. Hopefully we don't get anymore rain like that, our backyard is underwater too.

My nephew's 1st birthday

December 29th was Devin's (my nephew) birthday. It was so cute when he picked up his plate and the cake fell off, he just decided to lick the plate instead he loved the blue frosting as you can tell. He finally did eat some cake then. What a cutie isn't he?
