Visitors!!

Well this past weekend was a very busy one with lots of visitors. Friday I took off to start my garage sale, then that evening Mandi,David,Devin,Aleyse and Loren came to spend the night and visit. Then later in the evening my youngest sister,Chelsea and her fiance,Dan came too. Wow it sure was a house full but a good time was had by all. Satuday we just hang out and did my garage sale some more. Saturday afternoon the Sieferts and Loren left, then Chels,Dan,me and the kids went to the botanical gardens for the Art Festival. It was a steamy night but nice.

Garage Sale Time !!

For the first day of my garage sale I didn't do to bad, I managed making $55.00. Hopefully I can just as good tomorrow.

I couldn't resist this cute picture of a squirrel laying in our tree. If I remember right it was a really hot day out too.

Our Garden

Brian added more to our garden this year so we can grow banana peppers,jalepenos,green beans, and peas. That is all in addition to the sweet corn,tomatoes,carrots,cabbages,kohlarabi and onions. Hopefully I can make alot of salsa now.

Cassie's preschool graduation

Tuesday was Cassie's preschool graduation, here she is walking down the aisle after receiving her diploma and carnation.

Memorial Day

We had a great memorial day. We really didn't do much, the kids swam, Brian finished up his garden and I made some yummy Holiday food. Otherwise it was a great relaxing 3 day weekend and what beautiful weather we had too, the kids and me got some much needed sun. WE WANT MORE NOW!!

Rachael a girl I work with invited us over on Sunday for a cookout and to let the kids run and play. It was so beautiful, she even got the sprinkler out for the kids to run in. Cassie,Darren and Justin had a great time.

Darren's 3rd birthday

Wednesday was Darren's birthday so we gave him his gifts and this sunday we are having a couple parties with the families. We are going to have a very busy day on Sunday cause first we are having a party at my mom's house for Darren,Chelsea (my youngest sister)birthday and college graduation and mother's day too. Then we will be going to Brian's parents house later in the afternoon to celebrate with them too.

New baby niece--Aleyse Lynn

My sister delivered her baby on Friday,April 25, 2008. She weighed in at 6lb and 8oz and was 19" Everything went well and she wasn't in labor very long, she is lucky!

Zoo time again!!

The kids and me went to the zoo on Monday since it was so nice and boy was is great too, no lines and all the animals were out too!!

We are getting ready for another open house again. This time I had mom come up and help me paint the bathroom, THANKS MOM!! I love it, it was pink before but now is blue. What a big inprovement.

Egg Hunt

The kids and cousin Devin decided to brave the bitterly cold weater and hunt for some eggs. Boy did they do good too, both boys got a gold dollar coin and cassie found 3 eggs with gold dollar coins on them. They did good and didn't complain at all, both of my kids even sat with the easter bunny too.

The kids got to be involved dying eggs this year. Grandma phillips had 2 dozen eggs ready to dye and the kids had a blast.
